VICE PRESIDENT OF INVOLVEMENT

Sheccid Apodaca (she/her/ella) is the RUSGA vice president of involvement for the 2023/24 academic year. She is a current senior studying elementary education with an endorsement in special ed. and in cultural/ linguistic diversity. As the commuter peer minister, she works alongside of University Ministry to create a safe space for students to express their spirituality and make Regis feel like home. Her Catholic faith is a very important value in her life; outside of Regis she works with youth in her parish as well as directing retreats for youth in churches outside of Colorado. Sheccid was born and raised in Denver and loves to pay attention to the small details and beauty we can find in nature: especially the fall and spring seasons due to the many colors present in Colorado.
